Young Professionals TechTours – TechnipFMC
The first Tech Tour of 2020 will be hosted by TechnipFMC; an exciting presentation of their ROV activities and capabilities and a tour of their workshop facilities. This will include an opportunity to try piloting an ROV on a simulator and a first hand look at some of the tools. A detailed agenda of the tour is included below. Places for this are extremely limited and restricted to Young Professionals (less than 8 years experience in the industry).

18:10-18:25 Presentation including; High level overview of TechnipFMC ROV activities and capabilities Fundamentals of a typical ROV system, different types and their applications, key features of ROV systems Important consideration and limitations when planning for ROV operations
18:25-19:00 Tour of the Westhill workshop facility to include: Access to a full ROV simulator and opportunity to try piloting an ROV Walk around a training ROV system, Overview of an ROV manipulator and some example ROV tools
