Abstract:
The topic is very interesting because it has precedent yet is an evolving picture for UKCS. We shall review why electrification/decarbonisation is necessary, its feasibility and precedent, options available and potential pathways to net zero targets. We won’t talk about costs or regulatory frameworks, permissions or permitting.
Biography:
Glen is Project Manager at NZTC in the Emissions Reduction Program. Working on Low Carbon power & Alternative Fuels projects. Degree in Electrical Systems & Power Electronics, 25 years in subsea operations, EPCI, decommissioning.
Passionate about energy transition technologies and anchoring down new tech knowledge base, manufacturing & service capability for the transition and post O&G era.
